Have you been dreaming of being a contestant on "American Idol"?

Well, here's a chance to take your shot. The auditions for New Jersey will be Wednesday, Aug. 23.

Idol Across America, live virtual auditions with an "Idol" producer, are being held across the country in a search for the next superstar. In this first round of auditions, over Zoom, producers of the show will give real-time feedback.

"American Idol" alum, Wé Ani, will talk with contestants in the waiting room. Contestants can pick a time slot for the Live Virtual Audition here.
