Most people get paid every other week, but Emad Aljaber recently won the opportunity for an additional payday.

The 42-year-old Jacksonville man claimed a top prize in the $1,000 A Week For Life scratch-off game, the Florida Lottery announced Wednesday. But he opted not to wait every week and instead chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $930,000.
