Does your cute pet have a stupid trick? This new show may be their 15 seconds of fame

Some of the country's cutest pets doing the stupidest things are coming to TV ... and to Austin.

Cable station TBS is promoting its upcoming series "Stupid Pet Tricks," hosted by comedian Sarah Silverman, with a tour, according to a news release from the broadcaster. The tour is only making five stops, and Austin and Dallas are two of them.

The Stupid Pet Tricks Tour will feature "themed, interactive experiences and giveaways," including an opportunity for guests to "audition for a chance to have the best #mystupidpettrick featured on-air on the upcoming series" and walk the pink carpet.

When is The Stupid Pet Tricks Tour coming to Austin?

The tour is free and open to the public. Its stop in Austin will be at Meanwhile Brewing, 3901 Promontory Point Drive, on Feb. 10 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The tour is also making a stop in Dallas on Feb. 7. More information is available at tbs.com/mystupidpettrick.

When is 'Stupid Pet Tricks' airing on TBS?

TBS's new show is a spinoff of a similar segment that ran on "The Late Show with Dave Letterman." A sneak peak of the show will premiere Feb 11 at 4 p.m. on TBS, Discovery, truTV and Animal Planet. New episodes will run on TBS every Monday at 8:00 p.m. beginning Feb. 12.
