It's beginning to sound a lot like Christmas.

Maybe not everywhere you go, some people are still sucking down Halloween candy, others are still wrapped up in fantasy football mode or maybe you're one of the few people who get fired up for Thanksgiving.

Others are elves all year long. So if you're one of those who put up your Christmas tree while taking down the ghost and goblin decorations, good news. Christmas music can fill your air!

When does SiriusXM start playing Christmas music?

The stations went live Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2023!

Technically, it never stops. According to its website, SiriusXM's "official year-round channel for holiday music, Holiday Traditions (Ch. 602), is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for the biggest Christmas fans around. You’ll hear traditional holiday recordings from the ’40s, ’50s, and ’60s by artists like Bing Crosby, Andy Williams, Ray Conniff, and Nat “King” Cole."

But is that enough during the holiday season? Sure that includes some great ones, but when you're out looking for that perfect holiday gift, what if you want to hear "Let it Snow," but midway through you need to hear "Grandma Got Runover by a Reindeer?"

You can now do that because SiriusXM ramps up its Christmas music the day after Halloween.

"The moment you start listening to Holiday Traditions spinning your favorite festive tracks, it’s as if Santa’s elves are already hard at work getting everything ready at the North Pole," the website says. "So go ahead, be an early bird — no judgment here! Tune in, and let those jingles remind you of the magical season ahead."
