Just when we thought the "Big Brother" house wouldn't be on our TVs until summer 2024, the producers served us a big plate of blindside butter beans.

It could be epic. It could be a catastrophe. But "Big Brother" fans will likely watch no matter what. Here's what to know about the new show.

When does 'Big Brother Reindeer Games' start?

The first episode of "Big Brother Reindeer Games" is scheduled to air on CBS on Dec. 11. It will also be available to stream live and on-demand the next day on Paramount+.

'Big Brother Reindeer Games' schedule

"Reindeer Games" will only have six episodes. "Big Brother" hasn't announced the official schedule yet. However, rumors say it will air Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays across a two-week span, starting with the Dec. 11 premiere at 8 p.m. ET.

Below is the unofficial schedule, according to multiple outlets. The show has not confirmed this, so it's subject to change.

What is 'Big Brother Reindeer Games'?

"Big Brother Reindeer Games" is a spinoff of "Big Brother." According to Variety, nine former houseguests will compete in holiday-themed competitions. They will not live in the house, nor will they vote each other out. (So it's not really "Big Brother.") There also won't be live feeds, and Julie Chen Moonves won't host.

Every episode will have three competitions, and each competition will have a showdown at the end, deciding which player is eliminated from "Reindeer Games." There will eventually be four finalists competing for $100,000.

Season 23's Derek Xiao and Tiffany Mitchell, and season 11 winner Jordan Lloyd, will be elves, who help guide the players competing in the challenges.
