Doctor Slump Episode 14 Recap & Spoilers: Park Hyung-Sik Decides To Propose to Park Shin-Hye

Popular K-drama Doctor Slump aired a brand-new episode on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at 10:30 p.m. KST on JTBC. The episode is also available to stream on Netflix. The latest episode continued to document the love story of former rivals Yeo Jeong-Woo (Park Hyung-Sik) and Nam Ha-Neul (Park Shin-Hye). The duo navigated their respective hardships and went on a journey of healing together.

Episode 14 of Doctor Slump saw Yeo Jeong-Woo finally make peace with Min Kyung-Min’s death and put the entire medical scandal behind him. Meanwhile, Nam Ha-Neul took the position of assistant professor at the university she previously worked for. The two also got closer in their relationship, with Jeong-Woo deciding to propose to Ha-Neul.

Doctor Slump Episode 14: Park Hyung-Sik takes a trip with Park Shin-Hye’s family

The latest Doctor Slump episode 14 began with news about the medical scandal after Min Kyung-Min’s death. The news outlets revealed he provided drugs to a gang from Macau in return for shares and also paid a large amount of kickbacks to a university hospital. As Ha-Neul’s family reeled from her accident, Ha-Neul received a job offer as the assistant professor at the university she previously worked at.

Meanwhile, although the case was dismissed, Jeong-Woo visited the nurse who’d been bribed by Kyung-Min to drug the patient. She revealed that Kyung-Min had asked her to lower the dose to prevent a fatal accident at Jeong-Woo’s hospital. Previously, Kyung-Min revealed that he didn’t know that Jeong-Woo was going to be the victim. After Kyung-Min’s passing, Jeong-Woo found it difficult to cope with his hatred and love for his late senior and friend.

The following day, Ha-Neul’s family decided to visit Busan, while Jeong-Woo volunteered to join them. He didn’t want to stay in Seoul during the weekend and confront his parents about their unfair treatment of Kyung-Min. The family embarked on their road trip, which began with a chaotic turn of events, including a costume change for Jeong-Woo. Meanwhile, Bin Dae-Young and Lee Hong-Ran spent time together with the latter’s son.

Jeong-Woo accompanied Ha-Neul and her family on the trip. They paid Ha-Neul’s late father a visit. Although Jeong-Woo let the family go ahead, he looked over to see them making happy memories together. At night, they sat down for some drinks and dinner when Ha-Neul’s mother, Gong Wol-Seon, stressed about forgetting the pain and only remembering happy moments with her husband.

Wol-Seon sat down for some ice cream with Jeong-Woo when the latter broke down over his relationship with Kyung-Min. He recalled how his senior was the only one to attend his graduation. Amidst Jeong-Woo’s strained relationship with his parents, Kyung-Min was his only support. However, Kyung-Min’s actions towards Jeong-Woo and Ha-Neul prompted their bitter relationship. Wol-Seon asked Jeong-Woo to give it time and forgive Kyung-Min for his own sake. In a conversation with Ha-Neul later, Jeong-Woo decided to follow his heart.

While Bin Dae-Young and Lee Hong-Ran navigated their affections for each other at dinner, Ha-Neul began her job as an assistant professor. With Jeong-Woo and her family’s support, she began to tend to patients and teach classes. However, her busy schedule left little time for her to meet Jeong-Woo, leaving the latter upset.

By the end of the episode, Jeong-Woo received a massive settlement for his case. He decided to spend the money doing something good for both him and Ha-Neul. He not only asked Ha-Neul to accompany him on his funded operation on a little girl, but he also brought a ring, ready to propose to Ha-Neul.
