'Doctor Sleep' director on considering Jack Nicholson for 'The Shining' sequel

"Doctor Sleep" director Mike Flanagan told Yahoo Entertainment he considered bringing Jack Nicholson back to reprise his famous role from "The Shining." "Jack knew what we were doing and wished us well," Flanagan said. "But he's very serious about being retired." Flanagan said the way he approached the sequel was to try and find actors that reminded him of the iconic performances from Nicholson and Shelley Duvall. "Once we knew we were doing that ... I didn't want a digital Danny Lloyd running through the hotel." Watch the video above to find out what scene Flanagan describes as controversial.
