Doctor Who‘s upcoming season is timey-wimey in the very best ways, visiting the groovy ’60s, Regency-era England and other destinations ripe for fabulous wardrobe changes, as seen in the brand-new trailer above.

The adventures of the Fifteenth Doctor (played by Ncuti Gatwa) and his companion Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson) will begin streaming Friday, May 10 at 7 pm EDT — on Disney+ in the U.S. and internationally (excluding the UK). In the UK, the season will kick off Saturday, May 11 at 12 am GMT (on BBC iPlayer, followed by BBC One later that day).

Season 14 will open with not one but two new episodes; the season will then continue with a new episode released Stateside every Friday. (In the UK, episodes will drop on Saturday.)

The trailer above reveals (among many other things) a first look at Game of Thrones vet Indira Varma’s Duchess and a character played by Callie Cooke (Henpocalypse!). It also teases the universe-threatening crisis that the Doctor must somehow help avert.

In addition to Varma and Cookie, the Season 14 guest cast includes Aneurin Barnard (Barkskins) as “Roger ap Gwilliam,” Anita Dobson (back as Mrs. Flood), Yasmin Finney (Heartstoppers) back as Rose Noble, Michelle Greenidge (Code 404) and Angela Wynter (EastEnders) back as Carla and Cherry Sunday, Jonathan Groff (Mindhunter) in an undisclosed role, Bonnie Langford (EastEnders) back as Melanie Bush, Genesis Lynea (Casualty) in an undisclosed role, Jemma Redgrave back as Kate Lethbridge-Stewart and Lenny Rush (Dodger) as “Morris.”

Looking ahead to Season 15, it was reported in January (and documented by leaked pap pics) that Gibson’s run as companion lasted only a season, after which she was replaced with Andor‘s Varada Sethu.
