DJ Khaled surged to the top of the Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 chart Friday morning (April 28) following the release of his latest song, "I'm the One," featuring Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper and Lil Wayne. The track arrives ahead of Khaled's 10th studio album, Grateful, due this year.
The Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 chart measures the real-time acceleration of conversation around artists and their music on Twitter.
"I'm the One" (not to be confused with Khaled's 2011 hit "I'm On One") first appeared on the Trending 140 chart around 7 a.m. ET Friday morning and reached the top of the chart soon after. Khaled also released a music video for the song on YouTube Friday morning, which has since surged to 1 million global views.
"I'm the One" follows Khaled's single "Shining," featuring Beyonce and Jay Z, which also topped the Trending 140 after its release in February. "Shining" went on to reach No. 15 on the Hot Rap Songs chart dated March 25.
