DJ Khaled has shared his new collab “Staying Alive” featuring Drake and Lil Baby as well as its hospital-themed music video. The mid-tempo collab is the lead single off Khaled’s upcoming 13th studio album God Did, which will arrive on August 26th via We The Best Music Group/Epic Records as a follow-up to last year’s Khaled Khaled.

The track interpolates Bee Gees’ 1977 disco classic of the same name, with all three members of the group accordingly listed in the credits. On the chorus, Drake croons, “Try me a hundred times/ Wanted me to lie, wanted me to cry, wanted me to die/ I, I, I, I’m stayin’ alive, I’m stayin’ alive, I’m stayin’ alive, I’m stayin’ alive.”

In the music video, the superstar rappers turn the Khaled Khaled Hospital For Those That Didn’t Believe™ into a veritable house party. Drake swaggers through the corridors wearing scrubs and a stethoscope, mindlessly signing charts and busily waving off nurses while performing the song.

Meanwhile, Lil Baby smokes a blunt while performing surgery in the O.R. before donning a white doctor’s coat and turning the surgical unit into a VIP area. Later, all the stars converge on the hospital’s parking lot, surrounded by lit-up ambulances as if they were muscle cars out of The Fast and the Furious franchise.

Last week, Drake hosted his All Canadian North Stars concert during his inaugural October World Weekend festival in his native Toronto, the highlight of which was him trotting out Nelly Furtado for a surprise performance of “I Am Like a Bird.” Lil Baby also hit the stage for the Canadian fest, just one month after hopping on the newest version of multilingual hip-hop banger “Voodoo” with Badshah, J Balvin, and Tainy.

Earlier this week, Drake announced his Young Money Reunion show with Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj is now taking place on Saturday, August 6th after it was postponed when he tested positive for COVID.
