DJ Cassidy is bringing Pass The Mic Live! to Sin City as he announces his new three-week Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino’s Bakkt Theater coming this July.

The New York native will be joined by fellow hometown heroes Ja Rule, Fat Joe, Slick Rick, and Doug E. Fresh.

“Just as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford, and Joey Bishop united in Las Vegas to form the Rat Pack, one of the greatest shows of all time, Ja Rule, Fat Joe, Slick Rick, Doug E. Fresh, and I will unite to create an experience that will go down in Las Vegas history,” said Cassidy in a statement. “In the great tradition of Liberace, Elvis Presley, Wayne Newton, and Siegfried & Roy, we will redefine showmanship in ways The Strip hasn’t witnessed since the days of The Sands and The International. Every night will be a unique one time only event, black tie (optional) of course.”

Shows will be held on July 5, 6, 12, 13, 19 and 20, all starting at 8 p.m. PT. Each week will also feature special guests as each show “takes audiences on an unprecedented musical journey, redefining the art of collaboration and celebration.”

Citi cardmembers will be the first to access presale tickets, starting on Wednesday (April 10) at 10 a.m. PT. Artist presales go live the following day while Caesars Rewards, Live Nation and Ticketmaster presale tickets will be available on Friday (April 12). General onsale begins on Saturday (April 13) on Ticketmaster.

Cassidy’s Pass The Mic journey began in spring 2020 as a means to unite music lovers globally. After hosting 10 television specials, he launched the Pass The Mic Live! Tour and most recently, brought the experience to this year’s Jazz In The Gardens to commemorate its fourth anniversary.
