'Dixie Chicks' Singer Natalie Maines Finally Divorced After 2-Year Legal Battle
Dixie Chicks singer Natalie Maines is finally divorced from her estranged husband Adrian Pasdar after a 2-year long nasty legal war.
According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, a judgment was entered on December 19, 2019, making the couple officially divorced.
As we reported, the singer has been battling her actor husband since 2017 over everything from the validity of their prenup to monthly spousal support.

At one point, the "Heroes" star claimed poverty to the court asking that Maines to be forced to pay him $60,000 a month in support.
Pasdar asked the court for $44,076 a month in spousal support and an additional $16,427 in child support for a total of $60,503 a month.
During the 2-year battle, Pasdar claimed Maines is extremely wealthy marking around $2 Million a year performing music. He also said she has a net worth of $50 million and property worth $4.5 million.
Our Dixie Chicks Money?
The couple shares two children together, and he said that during the marriage she was the primary breadwinner. In the state of California, any money earned while in a marriage is considered "community property'. So, Pasdar says Maines paid for everything including mortgage, expenses, a vacation home. At the time, he claimed he sacrificed his professional career to focus on the former couple's children while Maines toured and made music.
In other words, her money is THEIR money.
Maines: We Have A Vaild Prenup!
But, during the lengthy court battle, Natalie told the court they had a prenuptial agreement and the 'Dixie Chicks' money belonged to her and her alone.
The majority of the issues Maines and Pasdar fought over was the agreement. Before their marriage in 2000, Maines said they both signed the prenup, but he challenged the validity of the deal.

The good news...the battle is now over, and according to the legal documents back in October, the couple also agreed to a division of all of their finances.
The settlement is private and is not filed with the court, but most likely there was some sort of equalization payment and some child support.
One more thing...now that the judgment is official, they can now get married to someone else. Or...maybe they won't.
