‘The Divorce Party’ Adds More To The Guest List; William Forsythe Cast In Miles Doleac’s ‘Demons’
Katrina Bowden (30 Rock), Todd Lasance (CW’s The Flash), Max Silvestri (The Good Place) have been added to the cast of The Divorce Party along with the film’s writers Lane Garrison (Roots miniseries) and Mark Famiglietti (NBC’s Aquarius). First time director H. Will Thompson is at the helm and the film is presently shooting in Georgia. The pic follows a newly dumped divorcee who hires his former wedding planner to throw a “divorce party” celebrating his new singledom. Sprockerfeller Films and 2020 Productions are producing along with Martin Sprock, Paresh Ghelani, Sunil Perkash and Ryan R. Johnson. Bowden will takeover the role of Jan — replacing previously announced Keisha Castle-Hughes — the best friend who sides with the ex-wife. She is repped by Innovative Artists and Management 360. Silvestri, with WME, plays Dan the better half of Jan. Repped by Marquee Management and Silver Lining Entertainment, Lasance will play Chad, who helps aid the main character in his transformation. Garrison (Abrams Artists, Untitled Entertainment and Crimson Media) and Famiglietti (CESD and Silver Lining Entertainment) will play Colin and Jake respectively, two co-workers who assist the main character as he strives to find a balance as a single man.
William Forsythe has joined Miles Doleac’s upcoming horror indie Demons, which is set to begin production next month in Mississippi. It tells of a celebrated fiction writer and former priest whose wife is tormented by the ghost of her late sister. Doleac also stars in the pic along with MTV Teen Wolf‘s Steven Brand. Doleac is producing under his Historia Films umbrella, along with Ryan H. Jackson, Kevin McGrail, John Lawrence Doleac and Lindsay Anne Williams. Forsythe’s credits include upcoming live-action family film The Little Mermaid based on Hans Christian Anderson’s 1837 fairy tale, Marvel’s Daredevil, and The Bronx Bull. He is repped by APA. Doleac, repped by Action Talent Agency, next appears in the supernatural thriller Don’t Kill It.
