Dive into 'Little Mermaid Jr. at Garces

Head "Under the Sea" this week with the student performers at Garces Memorial High School for its production of "The Little Mermaid Jr."

"Don’t miss the fun! Come be part of our world!" director Amber O'Reilly wrote of the production.

The Garces Drama Club Company G, has worked hard to put together the Disney musical.

It stars Jocie Sala as strong-willed mermaid Ariel and Yoly Cazares, Brandon Antongiovanni and Charlie Anspach as her friends, respectively, Flounder, Sebastian and Scuttle.

Also in the show are Colby Hughes as Prince Eric, Jordan Manning as Ursula, Gwen Grider and Keilani Colter as her minions Flotsam and Jetsam, and Isaac Rodriguez as King Triton.

This production also includes the talents of many involved in local community theater including choreographers Marnie Forzetting and Mary O'Reilly, costumer Laura Engle and Jarred Clowes, who designed the set.

The show will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday in the quad on campus, 2800 Loma Linda Drive.

Bring your own seating. Concessions will be sold on site.

Admission is $15, $10 for students with ID. Tickets will be sold at the gate.
