Disney's Elena of Avalor is striking up a festive tune to celebrate Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) festivities in the show's next episode.
The music-filled animated show is airing a special episode Sunday in celebration of the upcoming Day of the Dead holiday, where Disney's first Latina princess will sing the upbeat merengue song titled "Festival of Love."
In the track, Elena explains the importance of the traditions that take part during the Día de los Muertos celebrations -- which typically include visiting a loved one's altar and making colorful ofrendas (offerings) of food and music.
The high-energy track was penned by Elena of Avalor head writer Silvia Olivas in an effort to "debunk any misconceptions of what this holiday truly is."
Billboard has an exclusive first look at Elena's performance of "Festival of Love." Check it out below:
Elena of Avalor's Día de los Muertos-themed episode, titled "A Day to Remember," will simulcast on Disney Channel and Disney Junior Sunday at 7 p.m. ET.
