Disney's Descendants 3 pays tribute to Cameron Boyce during premiere
Disney has paid tribute to star Cameron Boyce during the official premiere of Descendants 3 on the channel after the actor passed away last month.
Cameron, who played Carlos – the villainous son of Cruella De Vil – in the film series, passed away on July 6 after suffering a seizure, and Disney Channel later confirmed that the film's official red carpet premiere that was scheduled for July 22 wouldn't be going ahead out of respect for the actor.
At the time, the channel also confirmed that it would dedicate the telecast of Descendants 3 to Cameron's memory and, true to its word, Disney showed a Cameron Boyce tribute video ahead of the film's premiere.

"Tonight's premiere of #Descendants3 is dedicated to #CameronBoyce and is a celebration of his talent and the joy he brought to the world," Disney Channel tweeted. "You'll always be in our hearts, Cameron."
The caption accompanied a video that showcased clips from Boyce's work on Descendants and sitcom Jessie, where Boyce played Luke Ross, as well as soundbites from interviews through the years.
The official Descendants Twitter page also shared the video online, adding the caption: "You mean everything to us."

It was confirmed that the actor, who died at the age of 20, passed away in his sleep after an epileptic seizure.
A spokesman for Boyce's family told ABC News: "Cameron's tragic passing was due to a seizure as a result of an ongoing medical condition, and that condition was epilepsy.
"We are still trying to navigate our way through this extremely heart wrenching time, and continue to ask for privacy so that the family, and all who knew and loved him can grieve his loss and make arrangements for his funeral – which in and of itself, is agonising."
Descendants 3 is expected to premiere later this year in the UK.
