Disney is trying to make you hungry while you wait in line.

The new “Princess and the Frog” ride at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, will evoke the senses to make guests feel like they’ve traveled to New Orleans.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which is replacing Splash Mountain, is officially set to open on Friday, June 28 — and parkgoers waiting in line will get a whiff of a New Orleans classic: beignets.

A representative for Disney confirmed to People that the fried pastry heavily featured in the movie that the ride is based on will be incorporated into the experience.

Think of it as a more family-friendly version of filmmaker John Waters’ wacky “Smell-O-Vision” idea.

The scent will be dispersed throughout the line via Smellitzers, the term for Disney’s scent dispensers, which also send a dusty odor through the Haunted Mansion ride, according to People.

Of course, the smell of freshly baked beignets isn’t the only New Orleans special being brought to the ride, which will be a musical adventure picking up where the film “The Princess and the Frog” left off.

“You’ll join Princess Tiana on an adventure through the bayou as she prepares to host a one-of-a-kind celebration during Mardi Gras season where everyone is welcome,” Vice President at Magic Kingdom Park Sarah Riles wrote in a blog post.

The memorable 50-foot drop that Disney fans know and love from Splash Mountain is still a highlight, and the rest of the adventure will be traveling “through the bayou into the next chapter of Tiana’s story.”

While those visiting Disney World in Florida will get to enjoy the ride this summer, those hoping to visit Disneyland in California will have to wait until later this year.
