Disney Reveals Marvel's Avengers Campus at D23 Expo

Avengers Assemble!

Disney has unveiled the brand new Marvel-themed land that will be coming to multiple parks around the world, including California, Paris and Hong Kong!

The big announcement was made Sunday afternoon at the D23 Expo in Anaheim.

CEO Bog Iger took the stage and revealed that the Avengers Campus will soon be open to help recruit the "next generation" of superheroes.

The first highlight at the Avengers Campus is the Worldwide Engineering Brigade – also known as “WEB” – which will house the new Spider-Man experience, the first Disney ride-through attraction to feature the web-slinging superhero.

During the ride through at WEB, guests will get the chance to test drive the latest invention: the “Web Slinger” vehicle, which "allows you to sling webs just like Spider-Man!"

The Campus will also feature Pym Test Kitchen, themed after "Ant-Man and The Wasp."

The eatery will use the same technology in Ant-Man to grow and shrink food.

There will also be special areas of the experience dedicated to Black Widow, Doctor Strange, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther and Iron Man.

The Avengers Campus is expected to open in 2020 at Disney California Adventure Park and then expand to the Paris and Hong Kong Disney Parks.
