Seabrook’s star-crossed zombie/cheerleader couple Addison and Zed, played by Meg Donnelly and Milo Manheim, respectively, will be back for the sequel. Plus, Chandler Kinney will reprise her role as the werewolf Willa and Kylee Russell is set to return as the zombie Eliza.

Meanwhile, the ensemble will welcome newcomers Freya Skye (Final Fantasy XVI) and Malachi Barton (Under Wraps) as Nova and Victor, “mysterious supernatural strangers whom Zed and Addison encounter during their summer travels,” per the official description.

Additionally, the spinoff ZOMBIES: The Re-Animated Series will premiere this summer on both Disney Channel and Disney+.

After wrapping up their final year at Seabrook at the end of the last film, Zombies 4 will see Zed and Addison embark on a road trip in the summer before their sophomore year in college. “As adventures unfold,” the synopsis reads, “they unexpectedly discover the warring worlds of Sunnyside and Shadyside and encounter two new groups of monsters.”

The upcoming installment has enlisted Paul Hoen (Andi Mack, The Luck of the Irish), who directed the first three films, along with the creative duo David Light and Joseph Raso (the Zombies franchise, Yu-Gi-Oh), who wrote the first three movies and penned Zombies 4 with Under Wraps 2 writer Josh Cagan.
