Disney Collaborates With IVE’s An Yu-Jin for Wish Main Soundtrack

Disney selected South Korean popstar An Yu-Jin to lend her voice to its latest movie, Wish. The IVE member sang the main soundtrack for Disney’s 100th anniversary film.
An Yu-Jin is the leader of the girl band, consisting of six members. Aside from her, IVE includes Gaeul, Rei, Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo. Earlier, she was a member of the South Korean-Japanese girl group IZ*ONE. Meanwhile, the singer is set to win hearts with her soulful voice in the American animated musical fantasy movie Wish.

IVE’s An Yu-Jin sings the Korean version of Disney’s ‘The Wish’
Disney movie Wish premiered on November 22, 2023, in the United States with decent reviews. In South Korea, it will be released on January 2, 2024.
IVE member An Yu-Jin lends her voice to the Korean version of the movie’s title track, The Wish. She embodies the determination and positive spirit of the lead character, Asha, while singing the song.
Directed by Fawn Veerasunthorn and Chris Buck, Wish revolves around a young girl named Asha. She wants to save her kingdom from the evil King Magnifico. One day, she makes a wish with all her heart. A cosmic force called Star answers her wish and gives her the will to fight the King.
When her determination to save her kingdom connects with a powerful force, magical things happen.
This Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures produced film stars Ariana DeBose as Asha, Chris Pine as King Magnifico, Alan Tudyk as Valentino, Angelique Cabral as Queen Amaya, Natasha Rothwell as Sakina, and Jennifer Kumiyama as Dahlia.
Meanwhile, An Yu-Jin’s fans will soon get to watch the special collaboration music video of “The Wish” (Korean version). The K-pop idol recently won hearts with her gratitude-filled speech at the 2023 MMA (Melon Music Awards). She performed with her girl band IVE alongside several special performances.
