Disney Actor Chris Tavarez Charged With Felony Domestic Violence
Disney star Chris Tavarez is facing serious jail time after the LA District Attorney's Office charged him with felony domestic violence. This comes after he was arrested following an alleged physical assault of his girlfriend.
According to the official charges, obtained by The Blast, Tavarez has been charged with one felony count of injuring a spouse or girlfriend after a prior conviction. The prior conviction was in 2018.
The 'K.C. Undercover' star faces months behind bars if convicted on the charge.
He is set to be arraigned on the felony charge in a Los Angeles County Courtroom in the next few weeks.

The Brutal Allegations
The Disney Channel star's girlfriend accused Tavarez of head-butting and choking his girlfriend.
The woman, who we have chosen not to name, detailed the alleged abused in a restraining order filed with the LA County Courts.
According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, she claims she had been dating the actor for only two months before having a blowout fight at the actor's home in Hollywood.
The 21-year-old woman says after a brutal attack she was hospitalized and diagnosed with a concussion.
She says in her legal filing, Chris, "started picking a fight with me which started out of the blue. He started yelling in my face things like “shut the f* up” and “b*h.” I got up to go to the bed and (he) grabbed me with both arms and pushed me against a wall. He then put both hands around my neck. I immediately started crying. I was able to get away and go to the bedroom."
Actor Accused Of Headbutting Girlfriend
She continued, "Things calmed down for an hour. But then the verbal aggressiveness began again. He started insulting me and putting me down and comparing me to the other girls. This lasted about five minutes and I started to get up and leave. He then grabbed me by both of my arms and would not let me get up and leave the bed. I tried to get up at least two more times but he held me down. Then (he) started slapping me hard on both sides of my face and eyes. He did this at least ten times."
During the fight, the woman claims Tavarez headbutted her and the blow caused the concussion.
He 'Bit' My Right Shoulder Hard...
She described it in detail, claiming the actor, "headbutted me to the back of my head. He also pulled my hair to the point where my head was restricted. I was hysterical."
She continued, He "jumped on top of me and bit my right shoulder hard for 20 seconds. I was able to get up and get dressed and I attempted to leave. But, respondent prevented me from leaving and started slapping me in the face again. This laster for an hour. He kept saying “You are not going to leave.”
Alleged Victim Hospitalized After Incident
The alleged victim claims she wanted a day and then checked herself into a local hospital to receive treatment following the incident."I went to the hospital and was diagnosed with a concussion. I was too afraid and shocked to go any sooner. The hospital called the police and when they came, I filed a police report," she says in the filing"
A Los Angeles County judge ordered Tavarez to stay 100 yards away from her and not contact her in any way.
Tavarez was arrested on the domestic violence charge, was released on $100,000 bail.
Tavarez is best known for playing Darien on the hit Disney show 'K.C. Undercover' starring Zendaya.
