Disney 100 exhibit opens at Union Station in Kansas City on Friday

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The magical world of Disney is on full display in a new exhibit opening Friday at Union Station in Kansas City.

Disney curators spent four years putting this exhibit together to celebrate 100 years of the Walt Disney Company.

There are more than 250 artifacts detailing the rise of Walt Disney and how he became the most successful animator ever. It’s interactive, as you can watch movie clips and hear classic songs.

“Finding 250 or so objects to tell the whole story of 100 years of Walt Disney is a challenge, and it was really fun though,” Becky Cline, the Director of Walt Disney Archives, said. “And all these pieces are so amazing and each one tells its own story.”

The Disney 100 exhibit opens Friday and runs through the end of November. Tickets range from $18.50 to $25.
