After its annual summer/early fall hiatus, Almond restaurant on Royal Poinciana Way’s east end is reopening Tuesday for its fifth season.

The Palm Beach sister to the founding Almond location in Bridgehampton, N.Y., will be open for lunch on weekdays, dinner daily except Sundays and Mondays, and brunch on weekends.

The bar, outdoor covered patio and indoor dining room with its whimsical orange-hued Scalamandre wallpaper will all be open for seating.

Along with featuring menu favorites and debuting new dishes, Almond is participating in the Dec. 7-10 Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival. That’s all part of what promises to be an “exciting season ahead,” Almond co-owner/executive chef Jason Weiner told the Daily News.

“We can’t wait to get started again,” he said Thursday. “People always ask what the common thread is between all of the different dishes we do and it’s all about soul food across different cuisines and cultures. Then we add our winks and nods to each dish, but really, it’s all about food that’s comforting and delicious.”

Weiner’s kitchen team also features chef de cuisine Brendan Long.

At dinner, when appetizers and entrees range in price from around $17 to $48, Almond favorites include spaghetti with lobster, and escargots with Pernod, garlic and fennel croutons. Korean-style short ribs with wheatberry-accented sticky rice, house-made kimchi and grilled scallions is a new dinner dish set to debut.

Lunch entrees, salads, sandwiches and more (priced from around $17 to $29) include mussels and frites and mahi mahi tacos.

Duck confit hash with poached eggs, and chicken tamales with poached eggs and Hollandaise are among weekend brunch plates that range from around $16 to $34.

For the first time since it first opened its doors in 2019, Almond is participating in the annual Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival. The restaurant is hosting an event at 2 p.m. Dec. 9 called Rosé Parté. Weiner will be joined by visiting chefs Timon Balloo, Zach Engel, Lior Lev Sercarz and Alex Seidel.

Premium rosé wines will be paired with dishes by the chefs at the walk-around tasting event ($195; visit www.pbfoodwinefest.com for tickets).
