Christopher (Chris) Noth has broken his silence.

The disgraced “Sex and the City” actor is speaking out about multiple sexual assault allegations brought against him for the first time since 2021.

In an interview with USA Today, the actor continued to maintain his innocence and deny any wrongdoing.

However, he did admit to SOME wrongdoing.

And that wrongdoing was in his marriage.

Noth admitted he “strayed” from his marriage, telling the outlet, “I strayed on my wife, and it's devastating to her and not a very pretty picture. What it isn't is a crime."

The former “Law & Order” star and his wife, Tara Wilson, married in 2012 and were together for ten years before saying “I Do.” They share two sons.

Noth expanded on his infidelity saying, “You give yourself the same excuses that many men do; it's just a little side dance, and it's fun.”

He explained how he justified having extra-marital affairs.

“You're not hurting anybody. No one's going to know about this, you know, and sex is just enjoyable,” the 68-year-old admitted. “And suddenly, a lot of people want to have sex with you. It's like, 'Well, I'm not going to get this chance again."'

Back in December 2021, two women, who were protected by pseudonyms, came forward to Rolling Stone about their nonconsensual sexual experiences with the actor.

It’s important to note, these alleged incidents happened in two different locations and over a decade apart.

One incident reportedly happened at a West Hollywood building in Los Angeles, CA. in 2004.

The other alleged assault happened at his Greenwich Village apartment in New York City in 2015.

Zoe claimed she was sexually assaulted by Noth in 2004, and Lily claimed he sexually assaulted her in 2015.

Both women approached THR in 2021 at different times and claimed to not know one another.

Their allegations against the actor were published just one week after the ‘SATC’ spinoff, “And Just Like That,” debuted its first season.

Zoe and Lily said “Promotions and press reports of HBO Max’s “Sex and the City” sequel series “And Just Like That,” in which Noth reprises his role as Mr. Big, stirred painful memories of incidents.”

Their stories had drastic differences, but there is one chilling similarity in both stories.

Both women claimed Noth forced himself on them from behind and sexually assaulted them in front of a mirror.

Three additional women came forward with claims he also assaulted them.

At the time the initial allegations became public, Noth’s only statement was, “The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false. These stories could’ve been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago – no always means no – that is a line I did not cross. The encounters were consensual. It’s difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I don’t know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women.”

While he continues to stand by his initial statement, Noth did go into detail about the scandal and its effects.

"There's nothing I can say to change anyone's mind when you have that kind of a tidal wave," Noth explained. "It sounds defensive. I'm not. There's no criminal court. There's no criminal trial. There's nothing for me to get on the stand about and get my story out, get witnesses. And there are even more absurd add-ons that are completely ridiculous, that have absolutely no basis in fact. And I don't like talking about it because as soon as I do, you'll get the Daily Mail or someone grabbing a part of it and doing it, and I don't want my kids seeing that."

This is a pill Noth has come to swallow.

"That's a money train for a lot of people," he said.

Per USA Today’s article, no criminal charges have been filed; however, there is the possibility of civil lawsuits.

As for where his career stands, Noth isn’t slowing down acting anytime soon.

"I'm not going to lay down and just say it's over," he adamantly noted. "It's a salacious story, but it's just not a true one. And I can't just say 'Well, OK, that's it for me' because of that. I'm an actor. I have other things that I want to do creatively. And I have children to support. I can't just rest on my laurels. So yeah, I have enough to let a year drift, but I don't know how to gauge or judge getting back into the club, the business, because corporations are frightened. People are afraid of all this. Fear is the overriding operative word when it comes to whether they believe it or not. ... I have to just continue on. It's rough, because people are scared, and their fear leads them. And I have to just persevere because I still have a creative life."
