After disastrous Golden Globes, WA’s Jo Koy is back on tour and coming to Tri-Cities

Internationally acclaimed comedian Jo Koy will take the stage at the Toyota Center in Kennewick later this year.
The Tacoma-born comedian is bringing his Jo Koy: Just Being Koy tour to the Tri-Cities on Oct. 25.
In 2022, Koy kicked off his Funny is Funny World Tour by selling out the Climate Pledge Arena in his hometown of Seattle and ended the tour with a sold-out show at the Tacoma Dome.
Pre-sale for the new tour began on May 7 and tickets went on sale on May 9 at noon. Ticket prices range from $47.50 to $77.50 and are available to purchase at ticketmaster.com and in-person at the Toyota Center box office.
Koy filmed the first of two Netflix specials last November at the Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, New York. It will be released this summer.
He reached #1 on the Billboard Charts in 2019 for his stand-up comedy album, “Live From Seattle,” and in 2018, he was given the prestigious Stand-Up Comedian Of The Year award at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal.
After a run of hits though, Koy had a disastrous time hosting this year’s Golden Globe awards, later apologizing for what he described as a “tough gig.”
