The Recording Academy and MusiCares have each pledged $2 million to its fund as the music world deals with the outbreak of coronavirus. Bandcamp is also helping artists affected by the pandemic by waiving its share of proceeds from 24 hours. Plenty of labels, like Merge and Hyperdub, are matching Bandcamp’s efforts.
