Actress Jennifer Grey and Clark Gregg are finalizing the terms of their divorce, and the 'Dirty Dancing' star will be receiving thousands in support.

Fans were shocked to hear that the actress was divorcing the famous actor and director Clark Gregg, after nineteen years together. The two lived in Venice, California, and had a daughter together.

Unfortunately, the two costars from the 2006 Lifetime movie “The Road To Christmas” announced that they were divorcing in July 2020 after tying the knot in July 2001. The divorce was not finalized until February 16, 2021.

At the time, the former couple had already reached a settlement. Grey was to retain all of her earnings and residuals from both 1987’s “Dirty Dancing” and 2004’s “Dirty Dance 2: Havana Nights,” even though she did not appear in the adaptation. The two were set to split royalties and residuals on several notable projects, including several Marvel properties in which Gregg played Agent Phil Coulson.

As per the agreement, the “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” actor agreed to give her a ten percent cut of any gross earnings for feature films and a five percent cut of gross earnings for work on any TV series. The two will split expenses for their daughter, Stella, until she turns twenty-four years of age.

The "Iron Man" actor also waived the right to spousal support and agreed to pay Grey $15,144. However, in new documents obtained by The Blast, it looks like the couple has decided to change their agreement.

According to the court documents, obtained by The Blast, Gregg had agreed to pay Grey $3,931 per month on the first day of each month starting on July 1, 2022. On January 1, 2023, the former couple agreed “to meet and confer and recalculate spousal support every 6 months or by mutual agreement.”

Both parties said that the guideline for spousal support would be generated from the DissoMaster program which would include both of their incomes. That program will indicate how much money Gregg owes Grey and that’s how much she will receive in spousal support going forward.

However, there are a few conditions to this agreement. If either Gregg or Grey dies, the spousal support will stop. There’s also a clause that says that spousal support will stop if Grey gets remarried. Spousal support can also come to an end if both parties agree to it.

The spousal support order was based on an approximate gross monthly income for all sources. Gregg’s monthly income from all sources is listed as $84,884 while Grey’s is listed as $48,657.

On or before January 15, "The Avengers" actor is also required to pay Grey a lump sum of $23,586 for retroactive spousal support from July 1, 2022, to December 1, 2022. The agreement was signed by Gregg on January 9 and by Grey the following day.

Thirty-five years after the release of the iconic “Dirty Dancing” film, Jennifer Grey is set to reprise her role as Frances “Baby” Houseman. In April 2022, the “next chapter” of Baby’s story was revealed at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.

Details about the project are being kept under wraps for now, but Grey told PEOPLE in November 2020 that they won’t try to replicate the love affair she had with Patrick Swayze’s character, as the "Ghost" actor passed away in 2009 from pancreatic cancer at the age of 57.

"All I can say is there is no replacing anyone who's passed — you never try to repeat anything that's magic like that," she said at the time. "You just go for something different." Grey will also executive produce the sequel and praised the “very genuine and simple” premise of the original movie.

"It was about innocence and the way that innocence is lost and how people explode into a different iteration of themselves," she added. "Dirty Dancing was a fairy tale, a successful movie and formula, using dance as a metaphor for embodying your energy and getting out of your head, and your limiting belief systems.”

At this time, no information about a release date has been revealed.
