Dinwiddie County Fair, live music, variety shows, carnival, agricultural exhibits: Going?

DINWIDDIE – The 2023 Dinwiddie County Fair takes place this weekend at Virginia Motorsports Park. Entry to the event is only $10 per carload. Buckle up your friends, family, neighbors and coworkers and head to the fair Friday, Oct. 6 – Sunday, Oct. 8.

Fairgoers will be entertained with live music, variety shows, agricultural exhibits, a carnival midway, fair food, vendors, games and more on Friday from 6 – 11 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. and Sunday from 1 – 6 p.m.

Friday night, the En’Novation Band will take the stage with their lively set of dance music. Carrie Brockwell, a Chesterfield native and American Idol contestant, will take the stage Saturday night. On Sunday, “Faith at the Fair” will be celebrated with gospel performances.

Kids of all ages will get a kick out of the “Ready, Set, Grow” show, a fun agricultural magic show which includes comedic magic, juggling, puppets, music and audience participation. Learn and laugh with Farmer Ed each day.

Don’t miss the Twinstunts Motorcycle Stunt Show, a Yamaha sponsored stunt team that specializes in live action thrill shows. The Ridiculous Nicholas Circus, a unique and hilarious family-friendly, one-man circus show, is another attraction, and the Soccer Collies, a team of four rescued collies, will play soccer against fair participants, also.

“The Dinwiddie Fair is highly anticipated throughout the region, drawing more than 10,000 people over three days. The small-town, family-friendly atmosphere offers something for everyone,” Dinwiddie County Administrator W. Kevin Massengill said.
