Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike beat out Skrillex, Calvin Harris in DJ Mag's Top 100 list

The king of the turntables has been revealed, and this year, there’s room for two DJs on the throne. DJ Mag announced its annual Top 100 poll rankings Friday, with Belgian pair Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike coming in at No. 1.

“It really hasn’t properly sunk in yet,” they told DJ Mag of the honor. “We just can’t believe it.”

Last year’s winner Hardwell dropped down to the No. 2 spot, with Martin Garrix, Armin Van Buuren, and Tiesto rounding out the top 5. Skrillex finds his spot on the list at No. 9, while Steve Aoki took No. 10 and Calvin Harris came in at No. 11. The brothers’ win marks the first time a twosome has taken the honor, as well as the first time a Belgian DJ has placed at No. 1.

As a result of their victory, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike took the main stage at the Amsterdam Arena during Amsterdam Music Festival Friday.

“Thank you for showing us to 1,” Like Mike wrote on Twitter.
