LA Courts Make Name Change Legal!

According to the name changing documents, Diddy will be able to print a copy of the decree a week from today. We are guessing that thing is going on the wall somewhere in his office.

We broke the story, Diddy filed legal documents to request to have his name changed legally late last year. In the documents, filed by celebrity attorney Laura Wasser, the hip-hop mogul told the court his reasoning for the switch is a "desire to change middle name."

No other information was given as to why he decided on the middle name "Love." But, in 2017, Diddy expressed interest in changing his name to something similar, "Brother Love."

Reasons Behind Changing His Name Again...

At the time, Diddy posted a video on Twitter, announcing to the world, "I have some very serious, serious news...I've been praying on this and I've decided...I know it was risky cause I knew I could come off as corny to some people...like yo...I decided to change my name again. I'm just not who I am before...I'm something different...so my new name is love .. aka brother love...I will not be answering to puffy diddy puff daddy or any of my other monikers but love or brother love, ok... it's my birthday I feel good god is the greatest I give all the glory and I thank my momma and daddy."

The 'Revolt' boss mentioned his name evolution with Ellen DeGeneres during an interview on her talk show, but a few months late decided he wasn't going to officially make any changes to his name.

Feeling The LOVE!

In a second video, he said, "Today I've come to the conclusion that you cannot play around with the Internet. Due to an overwhelming response from the media out there, and just due to there not wanting to be any confusion, I was only joking. I didn't change my name. It's just part of one of my alter egos, and one my alter egos is Love. But to set the record straight, because I have a lot of press to do the next couple weeks, you can address me by any of my older names, but if you still want to call me Love, you can call me Love, baby."

In the end, no one had any issue with Diddy legally changing his name, the only difference is you will know have to address him as Sean Love. Plus, his autograph and signature on those monster Ciroc contracts may look a bit different.

Today, Diddy posted a video on his social media reminding people to allow themselves to have God guide their life and not worry about the anxiety and stress we all live with day-to-day. In other words, he is really feeling the LOVE.
