Another day, another story that makes Diddy look even worse than he already does.

The Bad Boy founder allegedly disrespected Chaka Khan and had her son beaten up, according to her daughter.

Indira Milini Khan brought her anger toward the 54-year-old artist right to his front door, commenting “I’m glad this is happening to you” on his Instagram apology video from this past Sunday. “You got in my mothers face and publicly disrespected her yelling and screaming like a lunatic.”

Khan continued, revealing what happened when her younger brother attempted to defend his mother. “When my little brother tried to get you out of my mothers face your security jumped my 19 year old brother.” With one family member disrespected and another physically harmed, she could only revel in all that was happening to the former REVOLT chairman, especially given the fact they were the consequences of his actions. “These may be your dark days but I’m singing and dancing watching your demise @chakakhan isn’t it great mom,” she wrote with several smiling and dancing emojis.

Diddy’s public perception took its worst hit yet this past Friday (May 17) when CNN shared footage of him assaulting Cassie in a now-closed Los Angeles hotel in 2016. His former partner attempted to enter an elevator, only for the former Making The Band producer to find her, grab her by the neck, and toss her to the ground. He kicked her once, gathered the belongings she’d dropped, and then kicked her again. He then attempted to drag her back to their hotel room while wearing just a towel. Later in the video, the father of seven could be seen throwing objects at her.

The “I Need A Girl” artist took to social media to own up to his actions and apologize, but to no avail. “It’s so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life,” he said. “Sometimes you gotta do that. I was f**ked up. I mean, I hit rock bottom but I make no excuses. My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I’m disgusted. I was disgusted then when I did it, I’m disgusted now.”

Social media users weren’t receptive to his apology for two major reasons: one, the apology contradicted his December 2023 statement where he denied all of the allegations against him and promised to fight for his name, truth, and legacy. Secondly, he did not address the “Long Way 2 Go” singer by name or directly apologize to her.

TMZ later learned that Diddy was unable to directly address Cassie due to their November 2023 settlement, which came shortly after she filed an assault, rape, and sex trafficking lawsuit against him. Their agreement included a strict NDA where neither was allowed to mention the other’s name publicly. Puff’s legal team even had to review his apology video to ensure that he did not say her name or say anything that would incriminate him amid his multiple pending cases.
