Kim's Tragic Passing

Kim Porter passed away suddenly in November 2018 at the young age of 47. According to the LAPD, North Hollywood officers responded to a call at 11:38 AM at Porter's house in Toluca Lake. She was found in the home unresponsive and was declared dead at the scene.

Officials initially "deferred" her cause of death and it was later determined she died of lobar pneumonia.

On November 12, a doctor visited the mother of Diddy's children's house after she was experiencing flu-like symptoms. Porter said she was feeling "nasal congestion, "sweats", mild cough, body aches, and a sore throat. She had a fever of 102 degrees and also noted a "mild streak of blood with phlegm" while coughing that day. She had also been prescribed antibiotics and IV fluids from her doctor. The coroner report notes there was no history of drug or alcohol abuse. It also said that Porter received a massage from her goddaughter on November 14, and was allegedly feeling better. Hours before she died, Porter was also "watching movies with family" and went to bed at 11:30 PM.

After her death, Diddy mourned Porter and said they were "more than soulmates."
