Diddy’s radio presence has all but come to a halt since the mogul faced sex trafficking allegations. On Monday (April 1), Billboard released a report detailing Combs’ catalog slowly disappearing from radio play since Cassie filed her groundbreaking lawsuit in November 2023.

Before the suit dropped, from Nov. 3 to Nov. 16, Diddy racked up 23.3 million radio impressions. After the suit was released, Combs’ airplay spins took a hit from Nov. 17 to Nov. 30. The Bad Boy founder accumulated 17.3 million impressions, dropping 26%. The outlet reports that Diddy’s radio presence has continued to stall since then. A recent example from March found the mogul only receiving 4 million radio impressions, an 88% decrease since Cassie’s suit.

Despite the allegations, Diddy’s on-demand streaming numbers have managed to maintain a sense of stability. Billboard states that from March 15 to March 28, he accumulated 4.5 million streams across Combs’ various stage names, Diddy Dirty Money, P. Diddy, Puff Daddy, and Puff Daddy & The Family. For context, before Cassie released the lawsuit, Combs’ catalog garnered 6.7 million on-demand streams in the US. Additionally, Diddy received a 38% boost after federal agents raided his homes in March.

While most radio stations are playing it safe, not everyone is convinced of Puff’s guilt. During a conversation with Wack 100, R. Kelly stated that he didn’t believe the allegations against Combs. Kelly then insisted that the public take the investigation seriously because celebrities are now being hunted, regardless of the false allegations.

“The sh*t is crazy. Motherf**kers out there laughing and making comedian jokes and doing all the other sh*t on the radio and everything else, but they a** could be next,” Kelly warned. “That’s what’s so f**ked up about it. They so stupid they don’t even realize the moves that’s going on.”

“I don’t believe none of this sh*t. You could tell me about Puffy, you [tell me] could about anybody. You could tell me on the news, the weather, the sky is blue, I’m not gonna believe the sh*t. Cause I’m in it now, and I know what they did.”
