Diddy Called His Kids to Cry In Front of Them After First Bad Boy Reunion Show

On Late Night With Seth Meyers, Sean “Diddy” Combs stopped by to promote his new documentary, Can’t Stop Won’t Stop: A Bad Boy Story, and told an interesting story about crying in front of his children for the first time.

The documentary chronicles the history of Bad Boy Records, along with the lead-up to the Bad Boy reunion concert in Brooklyn last spring. The concert took place on May 20 — a day before what would have been the Notorious B.I.G.’s 44th birthday. According to Combs, some mistakes were made during the show, and the next morning, he began to cry and didn’t want to be alone, so he called his kids.

“The next morning I was crying, and my kids — I called my kids. I told my kids I need them to come up to the hotel room because I just needed somebody to cry in front of because I was so disappointed,” Combs said. He later added, “I was crying alone and I felt lonely … I needed somebody to tell me it was going to be alright.”
