Diddy has finally released his heavily-hyped new track, “Another One of Me,” which reportedly features the final feature of the Weeknd’s career (unless, apparently, Daft Punk reunite).
Along with the Weeknd, “Another One of Me” features French Montana and 21 Savage. The track offers a low-key, atmospheric beat, though it obviously wouldn’t be a Diddy track without a blockbuster sample — and “Another One of Me” delivers with the unmistakable drum solo from Phil Collins’ “In the Air Tonight.”

“Another One of Me” also arrives with a fittingly bonkers-looking visual. The clip places Diddy, the Weeknd, French Montana, and 21 Savage in a hyper-digitized sci-fi space filled with floating shards of glass and geometric statues. The whole thing has a dystopian feel, but it’s alleviated near the end when Diddy appears in a realm much more heavenly and serene.
“Another One of Me” appears on Diddy’s new LP, The Love Album: Off the Grid, which also arrives today, Sept. 15. The album is stuffed with features, including Justin Bieber, Mary J. Blige, Jazmine Sullivan, H.E.R., Summer Walker, Babyface, John Legend, Teyana Taylor, and Coco Jones. The Love Album marks Diddy’s first proper solo album in 17 years, following 2006’s Press Play and his first release since Puff Daddy and the Family’s 2015 mixtape, MMM (Money Making Mitch).
Earlier this week, Diddy marked his big return with a career-spanning performance of hits at the MTV Video Music Awards, where he also accepted the Global Icon Award. The performance featured bits of “Another One of Me,” “I’ll Be Missing You,” “All About the Benjamins,” “I Need a Girl (Pt. 2),” “Bad Boy for Life,” “Last Night,” and “Mo Money Mo Problems.”
