Diddy Breaks Down Viral Post-VMAs Pic
A post-VMAs pic featuring some of the biggest names in the music industry, and Kim Kardashian, went viral after it appeared on Sean “Diddy” Combs’s Instagram page. The picture included Diddy, Kanye West, Jay Z, Beyoncé, and Alicia Keys gathered around a table after the awards show. Combs appeared on Today and was asked how this moment was captured.
“I just think somebody said, ‘Let’s take a picture.’ It’s just like if you was out to dinner. Somebody said, ‘Let’s take a picture,’” Combs said.
Carson Daly moved on from the picture and asked Combs about his longtime dream that he recently realized: opening a charter school in Harlem. But Matt Lauer wasn’t done talking about the Instagram picture. Lauer steered the conversation back to the pic so he could show an altered version, one in which he was Photoshopped in with the group of moguls. Lauer then ruined a longtime word for “cool” when he talked about how “dope” it was.
