Did You Know That Kellyanne Conway Once Did Standup Comedy?

Kellyanne Conway might be the counselor to the president these days, but did you know that she once did standup comedy at the DC Improv Theater?

In 1998, Conway, known then as Kellyanne Fitzpatrick, was working at her firm, the Polling Company, in Washington.

She performed an 11-minute set for the “Funniest Celebrity in Washington” contest at a benefit for the Child Welfare League of America. Comedians, journalists, and other local celebrities also participated in the contest for charity.

Conway’s standup routine includes references to news events and pop culture, and she even name checks political leaders. She ends her comedy routine by donning a red feather boa and launching into an original song called “The Pundette Blues.”
