Prince William might be a secret Swiftie!

The Prince of Wales, 41, reportedly brought up Taylor Swift during a casual chat at the 2023 Tusk Conservation Awards in London on Monday. The event commemorated an important cause for William, who became Royal Patron of Tusk in 2005 and helped launch the namesake awards for the African wildlife conservation organization 11 years ago.

According to Hello! magazine, William referred to the pop star, who has officially wrapped the 2023 leg of her record-breaking Eras Tour, while speaking with rocker Ronnie Wood about The Rolling Stones’ upcoming stadium tour and new music.

“We were talking about the tour and I said, 'Come on, you've got to come out on tour' and we were talking about the new album and everything,” Wood said, according to Hello! "William said [he would] if we could get Taylor Swift there."

At the time, William's aides described the impromptu performance as completely “off the cuff” and the Prince of Wales shared new details about how it all happened in a special Christmas episode of Apple Fitness+'s Time to Walk series, which premiered in December 2021.

Mentioning that he was thrilled to see Bon Jovi, 61, and Swift at the event, the prince said he spontaneously followed the “Enchanted” singer to the stage after she pitched the idea.

"I'm sat next to Taylor Swift. She's on my left. And after Jon does his first song, there's a pause, and she turns to me. She puts her hand on my arm, looks me in the eye, and says, 'Come on, William. Let's go and sing,' " he recalls.

"To this day, I still do not know what came over me. Honestly, even now I'm cringing at what happened next, and I don't understand why I gave in. But, frankly, if Taylor Swift looks you in the eye, touches your arm, and says, 'Come with me…' I got up like a puppy and went, 'Yeah, okay, that seems like a great idea. I'll follow you,’ ” William recalled on Time to Walk.

"I walked up on stage in a trance, and then sort of halfway through Jon Bon Jovi's "Livin' On a Prayer" song, I wake up," he says. "And I'm thinking to myself, 'Am I standing on the stage singing 'Livin' On a Prayer' when I don't even know the words?’”

Despite the wave of hesitation, William revealed why he decided to stick with it.
