Did Olivia Wilde Just Reveal Her ‘Special’ Salad Dressing Made for Harry Styles?

Olivia Wilde shared the recipe for the salad dressing at the center of her ongoing drama with ex Jason Sudeikis after the pair’s nanny dished to The Daily Mail.
In the interview, the nanny revealed that Sudeikis once laid under the “Don’t Worry Darling” director’s car after she made a salad using the “special dressing” for her now-boyfriend Harry Styles.
The actress and director publicly responded by posting an excerpt from Nora Ephron’s 1983 novel “Heartburn” to her Instagram story. The page in question details the recipe for a simple vinaigrette made of Grey Poupon mustard, red wine vinegar and olive oil.

Ephron’s novel draws inspiration from the dissolution of her marriage to investigative reporter Carl Bernstein, which involved an affair on his part. She wrote the script for the 1986 film adaptation of the same name, starring Meryl Streep and Jack Nicholson.
According to The Daily Mail, the meltdown of Wilde and Sudeikis’ relationship was far more tumultuous than previous accounts had implied. The article included screenshots of the nanny’s text messages with both parties, including details about the salad incident in which Sudeikis allegedly chased Wilde around the house and then parked himself under her car to prevent her from leaving to meet Styles.
The former couple later released a joint statement condeming the nanny’s “false and scurrilous” claims.

“As parents, it is incredibly upsetting to learn that a former nanny of our two young children would choose to make such false and scurrilous accusations about us publicly,” the statement read. “Her now 18-month-long campaign of harassing us, as well as loved ones, close friends, and colleagues, has reached its unfortunate apex. We will continue to focus on raising and protecting our children with the sincere hope that she will now choose to leave our family alone.”
Wilde and Sudeikis’ separation has factored into the “Don’t Worry Darling” drama since the director was served with custody papers while onstage at CinemaCon. The director’s relationship with the film’s star, Styles, who controversially replaced Shia LaBeouf, is also said to be the source of tension with her other star, Florence Pugh.
“Don’t Worry Darling” debuted Sept. 23 with a $19.2 million opening weekend at the U.S. box office.
