Did Lindsay Hubbard Hear From Carl Radke’s Parents After Their Split?
We’re driving full speed ahead toward the breakdown of Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke’s engagement on Summer House. Carlito called off the wedding in a last-minute fashion and HubbHouse has maintained she was blindsided by the whole thing. The red flags of their relationship have been peaking out all summer, but the tension is reaching an all-time high.
The current conflict in Summer House involves Carl talking to his parents about his relationship problems. Carl’s stepfather was very vocal that he didn’t think it was the right time for Lindsay and Carl to rush to the altar, considering their constant fighting. Now, in retrospect, Lindsay is providing some context on her relationship with Carl’s parents.
Lindsay maintains her confusion
During the Summer House After Show, Lindsay said she felt “insane” rewatching the scene between Carl and his parents. “I’m like, what weird f-cked up flying universe world are we living in?” she said. “If I am completely honest with you, my parents would absolutely never diss or talk badly about my future husband. My parents would never do that because this is my decision and who I’m picking to be my partner.”
Apparently, after Carl called the wedding off, neither his mom nor his stepdad reached out to Lindsay. “No one called me or texted me afterwards,” she added. “Nothing.” That has to be tough.
Lindsay added that Carl’s parents’ stance on their relationship didn’t make sense to her, especially after her bridal shower. “All weekend long she was like, ‘I’m so excited for Lindsay to be my daughter-in-law,'” Lindsay explained. “And she just had nothing but nice things to say to me. And then when everything happened, she never even reached out. Nothing.” Ouch.
