Did Kate Middleton Make a Major Fashion Statement by Wearing Her Purple Gucci Blouse Backwards?

Kate Middleton is going her own way!

The royal mom, 37, looked gorgeous in a purple blouse by Gucci and wide-leg black pants from Jigsaw as she visited the Henry Fawcett Children’s Centre on Tuesday morning. Although the bow around her collar partially hid the front of her shirt, eagle-eyed fans realized that she was wearing her shirt backwards so that the buttons ran down the front instead of the back — like they do in the retail version.

Upon closer inspection, it also appears that the cuffs on her sleeves are placed differently than the retail photos – meaning Kate may have opted to wear the top backwards.

Another possibility is that the royal had the top customized with buttons in front.

Kate still tied the neck bow in front, as shown on the model, resulting in an easily replicated (yet super stylish) office-ready outfit.

Kate’s ensemble was comfortable enough to get down on the floor to play with some toddlers – and swap stories with fellow parents.

After previously revealing that Prince Louis has mastered crawling, the royal mom shared during Tuesday’s visit that her 10-month-old son has developed another mode of transportation.

“Louis just wants to pull himself up all the time,” Kate shared. “He has got these little walkers and is bombing around in them.”

A mom named Kriti, who was at the center with her 9-month-old son Kameron, swapped stories with the royal about their little ones. Kriti told reporters, “She took one look at Kameron and said, ‘Oh, he wants to go walkies.’ Apparently her son is cruising, and she said she was running after him all the time.”
