What did fan who returned Tom Brady’s 600th touchdown pass receive?

Byron Kennedy has cut a deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for returning the football Tom Brady threw for his 600th touchdown pass.

Brady hit Mike Evans to reach the milestone on Sunday and the wide receiver handed the ball to Kennedy, who was clad in a No. 13 Evans jersey.

The wide receiver didn’t realize he was giving away a piece of football history.

Kennedy, from St. Petersburg, and the Buccaneers came to an agreement Monday for the return of the ball. One report Sunday had said the football could have gotten as much as 500K on the memorabilia market.

Kennedy will receive:

• two signed jerseys and a helmet from Brady

• a signed Evans jersey

• Evans’ game cleats

• a $1,000 credit at their team store

• and two season passes for the remainder of this season, as well as next season.

It doesn’t sound like Kennedy got what he said he wanted when interviewed earlier in the day on NFL Network: a round of golf with the GOAT.
