The Dictators’ Handsome Dick Manitoba Arrested for Domestic Assault

The New York punk is accused of choking and biting his former girlfriend

Handsome Dick Manitoba, frontman of the New York punk band the Dictators, has been arrested for domestic assault, the New York Daily News reports. Richard Manitoba was reportedly charged last week with choking his former girlfriend Zoe Hansen. The police report allegedly quotes Hansen as saying, “He bit me. He bit my nose. He grabbed my neck and applied pressure.” Manitoba faces three counts of third-degree assault, one count of criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, and one count of second-degree harassment. Manitoba was arraigned Friday and is expected in court on March 26, Rolling Stone reports. Pitchfork has reached out to the Dictators’ representatives and the NYPD for comment.
