"Happy Birthday Unicorn," the actress wrote to the 'Walking Dead' star

Norman Reedus and Diane Kruger.Norman Reedus is forever 21! Well, sort of.
The Walking Dead star's fiancée Diane Kruger celebrated his 55th birthday on Saturday by marking the day with a not-so-accurate cake.
The Inglourious Basterds actress, 47, commemorated Reedus’ special day with what appeared to be a chocolate-frosted cake decorated with large, gold “21” candles.
“Happy Birthday Unicorn,” Kruger captioned the post on Instagram.

Alongside the cake, which sat on a confetti-covered table next to a pile of presents, the couple’s 4-year-old daughter, Nova Tennessee, could be seen in the photograph.
In the same post, Kruger also shared a snap of Reedus in the pool, poking his head through a colorful uniform floatie that Nova was photographed using earlier this month.

Norman Reedus and Diane Kruger.Engaged since 2021, Reedus and Kruger first met on the set of their 2015 romance film Sky, and started dating following Kruger’s split from actor — and Sky castmate — Joshua Jackson in 2016.
"I didn't know him before the film," Kruger told PEOPLE of Reedus at the time. "We share a lot of intimate scenes. I was really nervous about meeting him and not being able to have a drink with him, or talk with him [before filming Sky]."
The actress also revealed that she was "pleasantly surprised" by Reedus' professionalism and kindness, noting that the actor is “relaxed,” “easygoing,” and “very gentle” — nothing like the "dude" characters he usually plays.
Reedus also praised his then-costar at the time, telling PEOPLE that “she's a dream.”

At the 2018 Golden Globes, Kruger and Reedus made their first red carpet appearance as a couple and several months later, PEOPLE confirmed that the couple had quietly welcomed their daughter, Nova.
In August 2021, the couple got engaged.
