Diana Ross's 9-year-old grandson, Raif-Henok, is winning the internet after Grammys appearance

Raif-Henok Emmanuel Kendrick made his television debut during his aunt Tracee Ellis Ross’s stint as host of the American Music Awards back in 2017. And on Sunday he was stealing the hearts of people all over the world once again when he introduced his “grandmommy,” Diana Ross.

Grammy Awards host Alicia Keys invited the 9-year-old son to Rhonda Ross onstage, where he gave a speech about Diana before she put on a performance to celebrate her upcoming 75th birthday.

“She is amazing,” Raif-Henok said about his grandmother. “And young people, like me, can look up to her for her independence, confidence and her willingness to be her unique self. She has shown the world that nothing is beyond our reach.”

Naturally, people on Twitter are freaking out over the young boy’s surprise appearance and confidence.

Well, Grammys, you might be looking at your next host.
