On the August 17 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle Richards invited the group on what has since become a buzzed-about trip to Aspen and shared details on their accommodations. “My house there is small,” she explained, referencing the Colorado vacation home she recently put on the market. “There’s a house close, like 10 minutes from my house, that you guys can all stay at, we have for you.”

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Housewives trip without some strong opinions on sleeping arrangements. “I want to stay at your house. I like a room where I can lock my door,” Lisa Rinna declared, to which Kathy Hilton quipped, “Are you afraid that I’m gonna keep you up all night?” While Garcelle Beauvais volunteered to “stay at the other house,” Diana Jenkins planned to sleep somewhere totally different.

“I’m gonna stay at a hotel,” she said. When Dorit Kemsley objected, telling her, “You are not staying at a hotel,” Diana quickly confirmed, “I am.”

Diana explained her decision in an interview. “I am a great hostess and not a great guest. I’m very demanding, so in staying at a hotel, I feel like I’m saving everybody a lot of stress.”

As Diana has previously shared, she has a bit of an over-the-top approach to vacationing. “When I travel, I send my team before me to check the place, set me up, and they make it better: safety, views, bedding and sheets, and general coziness,” she said on the show’s May 25 episode. “So everywhere I go, it feels like home. I feel like that’s really, really important.”
