It's official: For the first time since 2001, the Arizona Diamondbacks are going to the World Series.

The Diamondbacks will face the Texas Rangers in the World Series starting on Friday, Oct. 27.

The first two games of the World Series will be held in Arlington, Texas on Friday, Oct. 27 and Saturday, Oct. 28. Both games will start at 5:03 p.m. Arizona time.

The Diamondbacks will return home to Phoenix on Monday and Tuesday for games 3 and 4, plus game 5 on Wednesday, if necessary.

Several Phoenix-area sports bars will be showing the games, and some have deals on drinks and food to help fans celebrate.
