Devin Booker doesn't need extra hair to achieve his signature style.

On Monday, April 8, the Phoenix Suns player, 27, spoke out about rumors that he wears a toupee.

“Yall got me messed up lol,” the athlete shared in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) in response to a clip that had been circulating on the internet of a mystery man undergoing a hair transformation.

The NBA star also retweeted the original post and video which read, “Video of alleged NBA superstar getting a haircut is going viral 👀 ."

In the video, an unidentified man could be seen sitting in a barber shop chair with his face covered. The individual had Booker’s complexion with similar hair.

As a track from Kendrick Lamar played over the clip, the words, “From balding to curls," then flashed up on the screen.

The video then offered a step-by-step tutorial of how the mystery man achieved the hairstyle — including having the entire top, middle portion of his scalp shaved so that a fresh toupee could be carefully applied for the dramatic transformation.

Booker seemed to be a good sport about the allegations as fans had a bit of fun in the thread.

"I mean are they wrong???" wrote one, while another joked that it wasn’t Booker, but instead Brooklyn Nets star Ben Simmons.

Meanwhile, Booker has also been in the headlines amid reports that he and Kendall Jenner are rekindling their relationship.

In late February, a source told PEOPLE that he and the 818 tequila founder, 28, are “definitely slowly navigating a restart.”

The news broke just two months after the reality star and musician Bad Bunny split after less than a year of dating.

During their romance, the Puerto Rican rapper, 30, seemingly dissed Booker in one of his songs.

"But the sun in Puerto Rico is hotter than in Phoenix, she knows it," the entertainer sang on his track "Coco Chanel."

In a now-deleted Instagram comment, the NBA player responded, "He worried about another MAN again."

Booker previously went Instagram official with Jenner on Valentine's Day in 2021. However, by November 2022, several sources confirmed to PEOPLE that the pair had gone their separate ways.

A source told PEOPLE at the time that they “have a lot of love and respect for each other and wish only the best,” but had decided to focus on their careers.

"Both have incredibly busy schedules right now with their careers and they've decided to make that a priority," the insider added.
