Devara Release Date: Jr NTR Movie Set for Major Box Office Clash

Jr NTR was last seen showcasing his impeccable acting skills in SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR. The actor is all set to do the same with his upcoming film Devara: Part 1. The movie is among the most awaited films of the year. However, the film will face a major clash with several other movies. The movie’s clash will mostly occur with two major Bollywood flicks.

Devara will mark Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor’s Telugu debut as she plays the leading lady. On the other hand, Saif Ali Khan has been roped in to play the lead antagonist. Kortala Siva serves as the movie’s director, while Yuvasudha Arts and N.T.R. Arts are producing it.

Jr NTR’s Devara to have a massive box office clash?

The Indian cinema has been witnessing major box office clashes among movies post-pandemic. After Animal and Sam Bahadur and Dunki and Salaar’s face-off, Jr NTR’s Devara is set to collide with two major Bollywood films. The Jr NTR starrer is scheduled to hit the theaters on April 5, 2024. Recently, the makers of Ajay Devgn’s awaited sports drama Maidaan announced its release window. They confirmed that the film will be released by the Eid festival in 2024.

Maidan was initially set to hit the theaters in 2023. However, its makers postponed the film several times, and its new release date is out now.

Another movie in the clash is Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The movie is scheduled to release on April 10, 2024. Apart from the two stars, it also features Prithviraj Sukumaran as the lead antagonist.

While the three movies are alleged to be released on different dates, they will arrive in the theaters around the same festival. Watching their box office collections and performances in the theaters would be interesting.
