A new report claims Liam Hemsworth doesn't give a damn about Miley Cyrus and her new relationship with Cody Simpson, with a source telling E! News he has zero plans to get in touch.

The report claims Liam hasn’t been "seeking out updates on [Miley] and what she’s gotten up to. He doesn’t want to hear about it and usually doesn’t.

"He’s leaving it all in the past and is in a different place now," the source continued. “He is busy on set and working. That’s his focus now and what he is going to keep doing.”

Sounds mature, Liam!

Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus fans were sent into a pit of turmoil over the weekend, when the couple confirmed rumours that they had split after less than a year of marriage. And while many took it as a sign that love doesn't exist and used it as an excuse to dive into a pot of Ben & Jerry's, others were too distracted by the drama that followed the first report of their break up.

A source at E! first reports Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have split, commenting that "they were drifting apart" and have been "trying to make it work for months". The insider claims it has not happened super recently, adding, "Miley and Liam have still been communicating and it wasn't a messy split but they have decided they are at different points in their lives currently."

Photos published by Entertainment Tonight show Miley kissing Brody Jenner's ex-wife, Kaitlynn Carter, while on a trip together in Lake Como. Kaitlynn and Miley are on holiday with Miley's big sister Brandi, who has also been sharing pictures of their trip on Instagram.

Brody and Kaitlynn's split became public knowledge at the beginning of August, with sources claiming their five year relationship had turned sour.

Liam Hemsworth is apparently planning a move back to Australia, following his split from Miley Cyrus. According to a new report, the actor hopes to relocate to Byron Bay, where his brother Chris Hemsworth currently lives, after being born and brought up in Melbourne.

"[Liam]’s taking a long break and heading back to Byron Bay to be with his brother and mates, do plenty of surfing and soul-searching," a source told Radar Online. "Then he’ll figure out his next move. He’ll still come to LA to do business and shoot movies, but this whole experience has really reinforced to Liam that Hollywood’s not for him in the long term."

Miley has unveiled a brand new tattoo inspired by her trip to Italy with Kaitlynn Carter. Tattoo artist Dr. Woo shared a sneak peek of the arm inking on Instagram. The design features the emblem of the House of Visconti and the symbol of the city of Milan.

This comes as Miley is said to be “disappointed” by Liam’s decision to file for divorce. An insider told People: “She didn't expect it and is a bit disappointed, but she is still doing well and has obviously moved on as well.

“What she and Liam had for a long time was very special. It's just hard for her to think that she will never have this again with Liam. There are really so many things that she loves about him.”

Looks like Miley and Liam will be divorced sooner than we imagined.

Following on from Liam filing for divorce in the Los Angeles Superior Court last week (SOB), things are reportedly moving pretty quickly.

According to The Blast, discussions between Miley and Liam have been ‘amicable', and their specific pre-nup means dividing their assets is easy - so they could be divorced as soon as Halloween.

It looks likely that Miley will keep their beloved pets. Hear that? That's the sound of hearts breaking :(.

According to Us Weekly, despite Miley going public with two relationships since their split (oh hey Kaitlynn Carter and Cody Simpson), Liam is "not harping on the past" and "holds no ill will against" his ex. Instead, the source claims, "He wants what’s best for her—even if it’s not him."

Liam has kept relatively quiet since the split, taking only to Instagram to announce his new movie Killerman, and to show off his sideways handstand skills. The last time he addressed Miley in public was with an Instagram post on August 13, where he wrote: "Hi all. Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward.
